I was at the state fair this week. There was a competition going on called cowboy mounted shooting. They were running a pattern and popping balloons with blank black powder charges in a pattern from horseback trying to get the fastest time and missed balloons were a 5 second penalty. These shots were usually less than 3 feet from the balloon but still impressive from a galloping horse. Mostly, from the horse aspect, I'd be very interested in learning more about this sport. I am always on the look out for new horse games as well as horse markets. Is this in anyway associated with what y'all do (and to be honest, I have no idea what that is but would appreciate any info or direction). thanks.
