DW main spring

I've never had a misfire or main spring issue.  On my large frame DW's there is a hidden screw that relieves the main spring tension from the hammer for dissassembly.  Is it possible this screw is not correctly positioned in your revolver?

(I've never had a medium frame DW apart, so I have no idea what lurks in there.)

Thanks all. Went with springs from Numrich. The main spring was shorter but a heavier gauge wire.. Works great now.. Problems solved..
