Is it in a good spot?

In Oklahoma, our duck blind drawings are the last Saturday in September.

I can't wait for season to start. :-D

pretty good spot Specklebelly. It's Miss. back waters. This particulaar spot will be highly dependent on water. Wev'e had quite a drought.

SX2,
Good job on getting the blind draw. I also saw your post on the "fuge". Now you need to get picked at Anderson and you will be in great shape for the season. Better take your son with you to the drawing for the luck.
You are correct about the water (drought) problem. This is the least water we had at our blind site in the last few years. Pray for rain.

prayi'n Bill :D

My son will be at Anderson with me. This is the one that counts. I live too far away from Quincy to make a big dent in the hunting scene. The good thing is my son has 3 locals on the blind with him

what's your handle on the fuge?

Use the same handle on the "fuge". Have not really ever posted there. Seems like there are some real characters over there. Have been some interesting threads though. Appeared as though you guys had a good time with the shoot and cookout. I got interested until I realized I had a conflict. Maybe the next time.
Let us know how the drawing goes at Anderson.

SX2,
At least you got a blind. I can't believe the number of people that show up to draw. One of these years I may have to go just for the party atmosphere. Sounds like everyone has a great time.
Good luck with the blind.

We camp down there that weekend every year. Not much of a party at our camp, a lot of catfish cleaning, sitting around and relaxing.

We HAD a blind at Anderson. While coordinating it was already gifted to someone else. Time to get the waders out

Sure does Bill. Daily draw on the north end.  Timber holes aren't as productive as the AG field. A boat is handy as it's a long walk to the last spot.
