Have had OK results with the whitebox Win. but decided to start the RL process. Picked 50 grain hornady using the #1.9 Lee Loader dipper and IMR-3031. Should throw 24.9 grains of the 3031. Results at 100 using 4.5x14AO nikon off crosssticks. Pulled one out aprox 1.2 inches from center. Had one at 1 from center and 4 under a dime. Considering the way I reloaded these, I am impressed.

Pretty impressive. If you have a scale, try putting several loads on it from the dipper to see how close they come to each other.

Seems like I read somewhere they use volumetric loaders for factory ammo.

Pretty impressive! Handi rifle gave some good advice.I to would put some loads on the scale and see how close they are.

Some of the most consistant rounds I ever shot were reloaded with a lee handloader and dippers. don't know why but they work well. Now I am trying precision reloading on the .308 to see what it and I can do. I know how good does it need to be to hit milk jugs at 200 yards. layed on their side they approximate a deers vitals. I do like to know where the bullet will hit that milk jug. I am working to try to get a load that is 1" at 100. The best so far is 150gr remington psp fb and 47gr of 748 win LR primers. This load is in the 4th edition of the Hornady manual under maximium but caution should always be exercised. even though this load is safe in my rifle it may blow the bejesus out of yours. So work up to it following recommended procedures as I did.
