Bolt removal in the Marlin MLS-50.
« on: August 23, 2005, 10:55:40 AM »
Well, my dealer can't find the box for this rifle so I don't have the manual or tool.  He's going to order the tool from Brownell's but I still need to know how to remove the bolt.  I know you have to un-screw the plug at the back of the action and take out the springs and plungers, ect. but when I took it apart to clean/inspect it when I got it home from the dealer I had to pull the trigger assembly off to get the bolt out, I'm sure there's an easier way.  I think maybe it has something to do with the safety or something but I'm sure some of ya'll would know exactly so I'd rather just ask for help rather then mess something up.   Thanks in advance.
