just finished fitting my new curly maple  stock to my pedersoli tryon rifle.i had to make two new barrel under lugs,went to the range to try it out,it is an old modal 1985 vintage it has a 1 in 48 twist and a .530 bore.it shoots a.529 mini 415 grns,my load is 120 grns of wono premium grade fff. at 110 meters ten shots 4 inch pine post ten hits of hand,very happy with this rifle it's always been a good shooter shoots round balls good to.

Hat's off to ya my ausi freind,,,anyone that can hit a 4" group at 120 yards off hand using a 1:48 twist and heavey load minne ball,,,

yer a darn good shooter! :D
 You should come-up state side and compete! Heck,,you'd get "monies" fer that kind of shootin :D

That is some sweet shooting. Alot of smokepoles won't do that well off sandbags, and most guys can't even do it offhand with modern guns and scopes.  :D

thanks guys i  actually hade abet with a guy who said i would not hit  the pole with that  smoke pole, he said that they are totaly inaccurat. well we no who boughtt the ciders lol.
