Here's 27.0 gr IMR 4895 (this is surplus powder and actually shoots more like H4895) with a 150 gr Winchester ".30-30" bullet at 100 yards.

Dang! I was doing so good at resisting the temptation too. They you went and mentioned a 30-40! I've got an old Krag I dearly love and the thought of a Handi in that caliber is just too much! Actually, I'd love to have barrels in both that and 30/30. Now I've got to figure out how to do it

i use 37 grains of w748 with a magnum primer in my win 94 it is very accurate
