This is a question a want to ask that was brought up on another forum,a traditional muzzle loader.Its not a question to start any arguments.it is merely a question to find out if there is any support for the idea.Here goes-
 If a primitive muzzleloader season was started in your state,one that would be seprate from any other muzzle loader season,it would not take away from what you now enjoy,would you particapate or hunt it.
 It would be a season that was side hammer cap lock or flintlock,shooting roundballs or prb.No scopes allowed only fixed iron sights no plastic fiber optic stuff.
 I asked this same question at work today to 20 guys,all inline shooters.19 of them said yes they would hunt this season if it were to come around.It would be another chance to hunt deer with a muzzle loader :grin:

Heck, I already was hunting with a flintlock muzzle loader.  It's only because my grandson is now 12 and passed his Hunter Safety course that I'm even interested in inlines in the first place.  I think an inline will be a bit easier for him to shoot then a flintlock since it's all new to him and it gave me a good excuse to pick up a couple new ML's, LOL.   Anyway, guess you can put me down for a "YES".   :wink:

I think you are going to get a lot of yes answers since any hunter is probably going to jump on another chance to hunt. I have a couple of inlines and a couple of sidelocks and would hunt with anything they gave me a ticket for. I unfortunately did not get drawn for any hunt this year so I am SOL for 2005. I am old enough that pure iron sights are impossible to use but I could use a peep sight and still be able to make decent hits under 100 yards. I use a scope now but still limit my shots to about 100 yards. Arizona allows inlines and scopes with the only limitation on smokeless powder which is not allowed so I did not buy a Savage. I almost did but finally opted for the Omega instead.  I may still buy one later even though we cannot hunt with smokeless.

Yes! I have been there and liked it. I like the modern stuff as well. I love my bow too. As long as it gets me in the woods. I would like to see a handgun season in my state.

Sure would, as long as my other Muzzleloader season was not in jeopardy.  :D Any extra days of hunting is a plus.  :-D

I want to thank you all for your responses,i can see you all are real decent folks.I ask that Redhawk or Bill either lock this thread or remove it please.
 The same question was asked on another fourm and it turned into a us or them thing.Got real ugly.
