kevin.303 - get a new one. Gun Tests magazine ran a comparison twixt a new Browning made High Power, a Mk3 assembled in Argentina with Browning made parts and a Inglis WWII P-35. The new Mk3 took the honors. The Browning made pistol jammed and had a terrible trigger. The Inglis was just worn out.
Their findings are the same as mine with the two Argentine 'put-togethers' I have owned and shot. Each was one hunmdred percent reliable, functioned on a variety of ammo and shot to point of aim.
I like the High-Power - it is a well made handgun that I can hold well and that balances well in my hand. It is the only double stack pistol that I can carry and shoot comfortably and accurately.
While you're at it get a bunch of extra magazines - always nice to have a few more round on hand. HTH. Mikey.
