Has anyone had a Handirifle 243 barrel rechambered to 6mm Remington? Or has anyone information on such?

as far as I know a 6mm rem reamer will not clean up a .243 chamber.

Can't do it for the reason mentioned. There is almost no performance difference between the .243 and the 6mm, I've had both. About the only option if you want a more powerful .243 cartridge would be an improved .243. I'm not certain that a 6mm-06 would clean up the .243 chamber either.

You'd have to really go into an overbore 6mm-06AI cause the shoulder on the 243 is actually farthger forward than the 308. It is larger in dia at the shoulder the the '06 case at the same point.

The 243 is an odd one to improve on unfortunately.

I think its the same basic argument as the 7x57/7mm-08 ream job, which means you won't be able to ream it to 6mm. Maybe an Ackley improved, but that's about it (without getting too overbore).

I had a 243 rechambered to 6mm Rem AI. Never shot it much but the rechamber went well.

My advice is stick with the 243 unless you just gotta have something different.
