Own several, stock a bunch of them. They are great pistols for the money. There are some magazine issues from time to time, mainly the just need to be broken in. The 15rnd mags in 10mm and nearly impossible to load full without the aid of a mag loader. The are certainly accurate my only real complaint is that the all need to come with fully adjustable sights.

I have owned a 10mm Witness for about a year and a half now. Mine has the wonder finish. The ergonomics of this pistol are phenomenal, and accuracy is quite good. I had some issues with it at first. To begin with, the pistols are grossly under sprung. A calibration spring set from Wolff solved that problem, mine ended up with the 20# recoil spring and an extra power firing pin spring. One of the problems I had with mine was ejection of the spent cases. Mine would send the fired cases into low earth orbit. The 20# recoil spring and the shortening of the ejector by almost .100 got them back into the same zip code. I changed the mag springs to the Wolff +10% and reliability in now near perfect. Haven't had any reliability problems since. Overall, I give them a "buy" reccomendation.

Bought one. Had an average of two jams per magazine. Bought new mags, changed ammo, still had the problem. Took it back to the store, gunsmith fooled with it and couldn't fix it. Sent it back to the factory, came back "A-OK" except it was still jamming as before. I traded it back in. Counter-guy at the store then bought it and said that when he used absolute maximum reloads (and maybe a little more) that the gun shot okay. I am pretty disappointed. Other people have no problems with their guns and swear by their reliability. I'm still looking for a 10mm.

So like so many other guns, it didn't work with substandard ammunition, and did well with good ammo?

yikes. i must be really demanding; i expect my guns to go bang! no matter the ammo. if they dont, i dont own them.

I think he just had one that was borderline lemon. Just like cars not all of those cars produced are headache free. Most probably are but there is always that percentage that are a real piece from the get go.

Reed1911 -- Read my post again -- I said HOT RELOADS. It wouldn't work with any factory ammo, even the high quality stuff. The nose of the bullet kept hanging up at 11 o'clock at the mouth of the barrel. The guy who got it work was exceeding the reloading tables with his reloads and told me so.

I've got one in the Wonder finish. The action was slow and iffy on the first box. A few just didn't go into battery. Polishing the feed ramp and lightly chamfering the whole inner edge of the chamber solved all problems. All work was done with a Dremel tool. This gun now works flawlessly only other thing to do is add a 22# Wolff recoil spring.

I assume you are a reloader, as the 10mm must be one of your favorites. My question to you is: How far do your cases travel upon ejection? After shortening the ejector on my Witness, and installing the 20# recoil spring, my cases are still thrown about 20'. I'm still losing a lot of brass.

I have a .10mm EAA Witness P Carry and like it quite well. I installed one of the spring conversions to make the slide handle .10mm recoil better and it shoots well. Not a pime hunter for me tho.

My son has an EEA Witness in 10mm, It hasn't seen a lot of action, maybe 10-12 boxes of ammo. His works great, no jams, or feed problems at all. I really like the way the gun handles. A little heavy, but should make a good carry gun for a big boy.
