Anyone else think Remington should offer a straight combed gloss stocked 7600 in a BDL type like the old model 6/7600 when they first came out,and were finished much nicer?They could have a different caliber every year like the 700 classic does.Like .257, .35,.300 savage and so on.

I have always had a preference for the slide-action rifles.
They don't make enough.
Outside of the regular calibers provided by Remington, who seems to have a monopoly in the US for slide action rifles, when a new one does become available, it seems they don't stay in production long enough for me to get my hands on one. The Timberwolf 357 is a good example.

I preferred the stock without the Monte Carlo comb myself. That would be a nice idea. I'd also like to see them chambered in cartridges that weren't available in Remington pumps in the past (Like the .358 Win.) :wink: :toast:

I think they should offer a straight comb stock 7600, along with the M.C comb stock guns. This way, if you want to set one up with peep site or shoot factory iron sites, your eye's line up.
With most shooter adding scopes on there pump's, the M.C comb stocks
work the best. It would be nice if they made a straight stock 7600 limited run now and then...I wouldn't mind a Straight stock 35 whelen set up with Peep site, to go with my M.C comb 35 whelen with a 1.5-5x scoped.
