The best price I have seen lately was on Gunbroker.com at $295 for a stainless model.  I believe shipping was free.  Not a bad deal on a discontinued gun.  I have one that I would sell but am letting a friend borrow it for a hunt in October.

It`s funny you mention Discontinued guns. I prefer most of the discontinued models, and like very little models of inlines they are putting out now a days. My favorite discontinued model is the T/C Firehawk. One day  Jack.

I have seen T/C Firehawks on Gunbroker.com also.  The auction site seem to be a source for some hard to find guns.

I recently purchased a Walnut TC Firehawk 54 caliber rifle for $149.99 from Guns Unlimited in Omaha.  They had a bunch of older model on clearance including CVA's, Knight's, and TC's.

I wet my Muzzleloading teeth on a .54 TC Firehawk, Blues with Walnut.  I loved the rifle as it was very simple to use and fired reliably.  The only thing I didn't like was the fact the breech plug wasn't removable.  Otherwise it shot very well (unless it was a 300 grain Sabot of any sort).  Loved the 430 Maxis, 535 grain No Excuses conical, and 250-260 grain Sabots (Knight Red Sabots).

I loved the way it balanced and shouldered.  What a great little rifle.  I decided I wanted a Hawken and built a .54 Cabelas Hawken.  I then sold my Firehawk and bought a .50 caliber Knight Wolverine 209.  Very nice and accurate rifle for the money, but I still miss the Firehawk.  I wish I still had it.

Oh well,  live and learn.

Firehawk (yep, that is where the name came from)

Firehawk,

I saw a bunch of them (Firehawk & thunderhawk) for sale on gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com . they were very reasonably priced for a T/C gun. I'm thinking I saw them for around $150.00.

Of course, you if you happen to stumble on any deals on a Knight Elite, I'd be happy to hear of them. Pete

Pete 50,

Thanks for the information.  Just so you know, Randy Wakeman has been selling the Disc elite with Stainless and Hardwoods stock for about $340.

Pretty sweet deal in my opinion.  I have seen some good deals on D&R Sporting goods website too.

Good Luck.

Got one for $225, including shipping, a free knight soft case, and a free pack of red primer discs, all NIB. Stainless Composite .50 model DL706C.
www.xpressguns.com - email DAN. He also has the .45 model for around 240, and the disc extreme for 300-325.
