want a new revolver

I want a new revolver or three. I want a 454 and a 44 mag and a 357 mag or 41 mag.
I've been looking at smiths, rugers, and taurus.
I have a 357 S&W 686, I love it, its getting worn some though.
The 629 looks good so does the raging bull as well as the super redhawks.
What are the pros and cons of these pistols?

What is the sense in preserving collectible items just so they can be auctioned off by uncaring heirs for their pecuniary value ? I am inclined to believe that vintage cars are to be driven, old wine is to be drank, and fine guns are to be shot.

I recently bought a Super Redhawk in 44 Mag, but started off with full intent on a Taurus Raging Bull.  I just felt that the SRH was much more balanced than the RB, and just felt better in my hand.  Suggest you handle as many as possible and see which you prefer best.

I know you did not list this, but look at the new S&W 460 Mag. You will have a 45 L/C, 454 Casull and the 460 Mag. The gun shoots extremely accurate. I love mine and it is quick to become my favorite handgun.  :D

I completely agree with the previous two posts. The 629 is more compact than the others mentioned and with a 6.5" barrel is a good hip holster gun. If you get the DX, it has an accuracy guarantee, a set of interchangeable front sights, and two sets of grips-- wood and Hogue.  I use the 629DX and it's so good that I don't want any of the others that are currently available. It works great and it's really of excellent quality.
