Who woulda thunk it?

I read somewhere on this forum that someone was using alchohol on a patch to swab the bore between shots. I have never thought of it before, but it works great. It seems to cut Pyrodex crud as well as anything else does and it dries by itself - one patch between shots instead of two. Whoever you are - thanks!

I have been using rubbing alcohol to clean my muzzleloaders for years....I find it easy to clean up.
Like Redhawk said......Vinegar and Windex works too. A friend of mine swears by lighter fluid?????????????
