Did you have any particular kind of game in mind when you bought it or was it one of them "I bought it 'cuz I wanted it" moves?  (Many among us believe that's the BEST reason to buy a new gun!)

Dusty.

I will admit I got it because I wanted it.

I also plan on using it for moose sometime in the future. Then I thought it would work for elk, bear or buffalo also. I will use heavier bullets in it (180 gr. plus) and run lighter ones in my 300 wsm.

  mr. frosty,

I bought the stainless and synthetic for those times when the weather ain't so good.

I  plan to get one in 270 wsm for my wife to use but she don't know it yet.

I have read some on this round and if I get a WSM this will be the one.  I've wanted a 270 WSM since they came out but since I already have a 270 Win.  So it's no longer on the top of the list.

I find it interesting that the 180 gr load has the same trajectory as my 140 gr 270 Win load.  Then again if your looking for some power there's the larger grain weights.

Cabela's had one the other day when I was there...Model 70 with a Dura camo finish and stainless finish.  Looked great if you ask me, just wish they'd get the right camo on it since I'm a Realtree guy.

My wife once made the mistake of telling me "all of your guns look alike"...No, I've had this gun for a long time! LOL
