Is this being done by anyone hear ? In the past the $1.69 box of five rifled slugs were fine, but now i am useing the newer sabot slugs which are costing me $13.00 for a box of five so i have been  thinking about reloading.

I don't have an H&R slug shooter yet but I have reloaded sabot slugs before.  I have a friend that casts the Lyman slug that looks like a giant pellet.  It's loaded in a regular field wad in a star crimped hull.  They shoot well out of several guns that we've tried them in.  They are touchy to reload, a bit more difficult than regular field loads but worth it.  I think the cost comes out to less than a dollar a box of 5 if you cast the slugs yourself.
