Remington 2005 Special Runs
« on: October 20, 2005, 06:29:13 AM »
I noticed on Remington's website the other day they had three different calibers for the limited edition 7600.  6mm, 7mm-08 and 25-06.  The rifles have a light finished stock (almost blonde) and blued steel.  Not bad looking...which round would be the best?  I'm leaning towards the 6mm, I reload so none are out of the question.

Obviously the 6mm brass might be somewhat harder to find, granted Midway USA, Grafs and Midsouth should have them all the time.

7-08 would be nice since the factory rounds are very plentiful and the bullet selection is large.  I have a 257 Roberts so the 25-06 is a definite third.

Anyone have one of these rifles and if you do what do you think?  Is the very light colored stock (Maple) to light?

What do ya think?

My wife once made the mistake of telling me "all of your guns look alike"...No, I've had this gun for a long time! LOL
