I took some trading material to a gun show today and ended up with an EAA Bounty Hunter, 8 shot convertible 22 single action revolver in a Triple K gunfighter type belt and holster all for $200.
The gun was sold as used but appears in new condition. There are ratchet marks on the cylinders but the cylinder mouths dont have the tale tale blossoms that appear when a revolver has been fired. It has a 4 inch barrel and a blued frame. There are two very light scratches on the left rear frame, near the hammer. Those are the only blemishes. It came with the original cardboard box and cleaning brush, but no instruction booklet.
The gun belt and holster had the gun in it when I bought it but you can tell it has never been buckled around anyone. It is brown with brass buckles and hardware.
I wanted the gun but have little use for the holster. I make my own holsters to suit my uses and since most of the time I am horseback when carrying a handgun, a gunfighter rig is not practical. I will probably sell the gun belt.
I am not familiar with either gun or the gun belt and holster. They look like good quality though and I did come right home and thin out the cats around the barn with the gun. Got one the first and second shots.
If you know anything about EAA Bounty Hunter 22s or Triple K holsters, tell me if I did well.
Thank You
