How well does it shoot?

Was it difficult getting rechambered to the Kilburn version of the Hornet?

dont use a khornet but enjoy the heck out of my 22 hornets  love shooting them at groundpiggies at 100+ yds i use the 35 hornady  bullet a lot and also the james calhoon 33gr double hollowpoints

Ask stuffit, he have one.
You may make a search on "stuffit" as author here or on handloads.com to find posts about his Nef reamed in 22K and cast bullets also !.

Not yet but hopefully in the next year.  It is one of the reasons that I bought my handi.  I have done the max conversion but I am wondering if the Khornet will be a little more than I can chew? Not sure yet but as for shooting I love my 10" Contender KHornet.  It shoots like a dream and I use the 40 grn V-max.  Works more like a hunting bullet over a varmit bullet at hornet velocities, good for yote whacking :grin:

I bought a Hornet last spring with the intention of having it rechambered to K Hornet.  I didn't spend a lot of time on load development, but had it shooting dime size 3 shot groups at 100.  Sent it to David White (in Pearl, Mississippi) early August to be rechambered and got it back 9 days later, a couple weeks before Katrina hit.  I've only been able to get to the range once to fire form cases but I have no reason to believe it won't be a decent shooter in the new chambering.
