I was doing some web surfing and ran across a new (new to me) site about pheasant hunting in SD.  I don't have anything to do with it other than I used to live in SD and can't wait till I retire and can move back...check it out:

took a look at the website. It's fun to browse, good pics, but I was disapointed that there doesn't seem to be any info about public land hunting access. Is there any decent public lands hunting in the area? I'm not wealthy, it's hard for me to justify a guide service or high private land fees. If you run across something with more info for out of state hunters on public lands please let us know. Tx

:D I looked at the pheasant site too and have to agree with Harley. There is a walk in access listing on a State of South Dakota site. It points out land but you don't know if the hunting is any good. They list the species which are supposed to be there. :?
