Sambar Stag Horn

I was at the fall show of Michigan Knife Collectors and a guy from India was there, and India has lifted the export block on stag horn.  It is now going to be more available again and he had plenty of stock.  Don't know if this is long term.  His prices were high, but maybe will come down with more coming this way.
At Khe Sahn a sign read "For those who fought for it, life has a flavor the protected never knew".

'Bout time.  Hope that guy was right.  Haven't heard anything at some of the other knife sites yet.

From what I have heard, it is a temporary lift on the ban.  Sort of like a trial period to see how things go.  Hopefully it leads to free flowing supply.
