You bet. I have used the Sierra BlitzKing in my 22-250 and it really puts the smack down on them.

The 40 grain VLC (Ithink its a Barnes) blue bullet out of a 223 is awesome on coyotes...I loaded a bunch up for a farmer buddy of mine.... he killed 5 the other evening and everyone of them dropped in their tracks.... he killed a couple at over 200 yards. He was skeptical of the bullets when I handed them to him.....he called me up the other day and asked if he could get some more of "them blue bullets" ....he swears by them...

:-D  Boy am I glad to see your post on the 40 gn. Blitz King`s. I hit 4 coyotes with the Serria 32 gn. .204 bullets and never got a 1, they just did not have the penitration to kill them. I called Serria and their tec. confirmed what I thought and siad he didn`t thik their 39 gn. bullets would be much better. I have a bunch of the .40 gn. bullets loaded in .222 for a Contender pistol that I carry when running the hoe and I was afraid that they also might be to thin skinned for coyote. Now if I can just get one within 200 yrds. of the hoe I`ll give them a try.

What other grain of bullet would you need? Would that bullet be good for my needs? The bigges animal i would shoot would be a coyote and beaver. The beaver would not be no more than 100 yrds 150 max.

I shot one in South Dakota with my .223 &  Nosler 40gr Bal. tip. He was about 250 yards out.
He never finished the step he was taking.
Looked like someone dropped a ton of bricks on him.

I know i posted this on here before but i can't find it now. The federal american eagle bullets are really cheap but are they accurate and do they have the same velocity as other 50 grain ammo how explosive are they?

Catfish, although I have only shot about 10 with the 40 BK I see no reason for you to be concerned.
