Well i have a Squirrel hunting trip coming up and i'm gonna be needing a barrel. I'm not sure what to get though. I'm thinking a 28 gauge youth barrel but that might be hard to find. I don't wanna send my receiver back to the factory. So i guess it's just whatever comes up it the classifieds.

What about the choke? Should i get a full or modified?

I'm gonna be shooting alot so i don't want some thing that is gonna beat the snot out of me. So a 20 gauge or 28 gauge what to ya'll think?

Not that the 28ga won't do the job, but I'd go with a 20ga for a number of reasons. You'll be able to find one much easier, you'll be able to find a much wider variety of ammo and it will be cheaper. You will have a much more veritile guns as well. All that being said I'd like to get a 28ga barrel too someday. Another option you might consider is th 16ga if you should run across one.

Thanks for the reply.

I got to looking at the price of 28 gague shells and i think i will pass on it for now. The 20 gague looks good but i think i might look for a 16 gauge. Then if i can't find one i'll go with a 20. You don't happen to have one for sale do you?     :-D

20ga Full Choke??

I have seen a few 20ga full Choke models around on the used racks.  I guess I don't really know how good the 20ga full would be for squirrels, but they seem to be plenty full.  Someone has one on the classifieds right now.  You may want to check it out.  I beleive it was $42 shipped.

Nope, sorry, wasn't me.  That's the first I have seen this one come on the classifieds.  Someone else had one to trade a while back.  I don't think it was ever traded.  Kenbev, maybe?  Not sure, I will have to look it up.  Good Luck.
