Custom (slender) grips for Encores?
« on: September 26, 2005, 08:33:27 AM »
My son, though full grown, has rather small hands, and the factory walnut grip on the  Encore pistol is too big for him.  His index finger can't quite reach far enough for a good purchase on the trigger if he is holding the grip as it was designed to be held.   Do you know if anyone offers more slender grips (ideally, wood or wood laminate) for the Encore?

Try the factory rubber grip, they worked better for me when I had an Encore.

If you're handy at all, a little sand paper might help reduce the rear of the stocks..... :D

Check with Ol' Georgia Jim.   Seems to me that he made custom grips for smaller hands. . .
