I own a Winchester Modle 70 in 30-06 and although I'm not having any trouble with the trigger I'm thinking perhaps I'm overlooking an opportunity to increase my accuracy. Are the Timney triggers SO good that on can expect to gain accuracy simply by installing one?

Dusty,
Go up to Sniper.com and do a search for "adjusting the model 70 trigger.
Also, go to the rifle forum and see the discussion on the Timney trigger.

DustyM. the M70 trigger is an excellant desighn. It's openness prevents crud from causing problems and it's adjustable. Perhaps not as easily as a Timney but still adjustable. personnaly I would leave the M70 trigger alone and simply adjust it myself..
