New to Glocks New 22
« on: May 17, 2004, 06:51:41 AM »
To start off, i used to be a diehare Glock hater. until last weekend i went to the range with a buddy, and shot his Glock, and loved it. Today i bought my first Glock 22, and it is great. To me the main reason i did not like glocks before was that the grips where to wide for my hands..The 22 seems to have a narrower grip, and fits like a glove. Ill never dought a glock again

space_weaseal,

Welcome to the Glock club!  I also used to hate Glock - considered it to be cheap plastic "combat tupperware" - that is until I had a chance to shoot a friends.  After the first few rounds, I KNEW I was in love and my other handguns up to that point had been mere "training" wheels.  I also own a model 22, which is in my opinion the finest combat handgun EVER devised in any caliber.

Happy shooting, and best wishes!

I carry the 22 for work and have done a lot of shooting with it, also having shot with the 23 and 27.

loving i, simple, hard wearing, reliable. Can't beat it in a gunfight as one male terrorist found out over here the other day. Apparently beats the 9mm high power anyhoo!

You could add to the fun and get a KelTec Sub 2000 .40 S&W (takes glock 22 mags)!

I traded my XD 40 for a SS GP100 6" 357 Ruger, I kept my Glock 22 40!

My XD 40 shot good, but rusted easily and it was ugly......

I like my Glocks. They are fun to shoot and very accurate once sighted in.
I own the Glock 22 and the Glock 20 [ 10mm ]. I also bought a 357 Glock barrel for my Glock 22 and a 22 rim fire slide and barrel for it to. Fun Fun Fun :D
