bought a really old looking knife today at a "Estate Sale", a Olson skinnig type knife............anyone know any info on the knife maker??????????thank

I have an Olsen (with an "e") that I bought in Traverse City MI in the 60s. Marked "Olsen Knife Co. Solingen Germany" Is your knife "Olson" or "Olsen"?

gino-----------your'e right it Olsen--------on the snap on the sheath it has Olsen and under it OK...........on the blade it has Olsen ok ands under it has HC ( high carbon???) and MI for (Mich???)............what do you think?????

gino==========i found out what the HC stands for Howard City, and the MI is Mich. the company was in business for 70-80 years and went out of business around 1985+/-.......( found this out on a internet search this am)/...........looks like i got a good buy for $10 dollars
