What size is the screw on the front sight of an Encore??

I have a MZL barrel that I have removed the sights from and am using a scope. I just dont like the looks of the hole in the front of the barrel with a screw in it.

Does anybody know. I found some plug screws in Brownells but need to know what size to buy??

The front sight screw size is 8-40 for the Encore rifle bar

The Bronells are the wrong size...

6-48 is not the correct size for the front sight screw. That is the rear sight screw size.

The front sight screw size is 8-40 for the Encore rifle barrels........ the Encore pistol and Contender barrels use 6-48 front and rear.
