Just bought my second FA 97
« on: September 18, 2005, 04:29:22 PM »
I just bought (off of Gunbroker) a FA 97 in .357 Mag.  It has a 4-1/4" octagon barrel, adjustable sights, trigger job and micarta grips.  I am excited for it to show here at my transfer dealer, and join up with my FA97 44 special.  I find myself unloading some of my other guns to pay for fewer guns that will get shot a lot more - cleaning the safe out, as it were.

Tom

FA guns are top quality. Sounds light you are trading Quanity for Quality. :-) Regards, Byron  :D

Sweet!
I have a plain 4.25" .357 and love it. Just enough gun to handle the stoutest .357 loads. Accuracy is outstanding.
I've been contemplating a 6" octagon model 97 for silhouette competition (field pistol) and more serious target shooting.
Love the way those octagon barrels look.
