Under the turkeys
« on: September 30, 2005, 10:49:56 AM »
We have alot of water turkeys come through the state this time of year on their migration route, and they stick around till cold weather moves em on, sometimes it's December when they finally leave.

Now they roost in snags and the cats get under the roosts and eat the turds. We ease in under the roost areas and lob a chicken liver with no weight on a spinning outfit so it hits the water with a plop and all hell breaks loose.

Ever seen a 20-30 pound blue bust the top like a black bass on a top water plug ?

The far north end of Oologah, be careful, for every snag you can see there's a dozen broke off that ya can't see.
