In probably 90% of the state, black bear season is open year around and the bag limit is usually three bears a year.

here is a link to Alaska Dept Fish and Game regulation site. You can also find links to online license info and much more.
Alaska's regulations can be complicated so take plenty of time to be sure you understand them.
