Did H&R ever make the handi or ultra in the 218 Bee Caliber. I know a fellow that said he owned one....

I've seen most of their old catalogs. I think it was a rechambered 22 Hornet. But, who knows what they made as "special runs"?

Would be a nice choice, although I'm kinda biased

Mine's an old Winchester. It's a very nice little varmint round for modest ranges. It sure does stretch a pound of power.

i bought a rechambered 22hornet from a list member a few years back , and i like it, always wanted a 218 bee, looked att the marlin lever rifles at gun shows and was to cheap to pay500+ for the used ones , i wish H&R would chamber it i think more people would use it, its just a bump overthe hornet , and a tad under the 222 rem, mine shoots fantastic, but ive never seen it offered anytime in a factory offering,
