Alloy question for hunting use
« on: October 05, 2005, 05:02:59 PM »
As hunting season is almost upon us.  I would like to get some opinion on a good usable alloy.

First and foremost it has to expand without shattering.

Launch velocity around 1700fps

Impact velocity around 1400 - 1600 fps

165gr  30 cal rifle.

220gr  35 cal rifle.

350gr  45 cal rifle.
