Shot my 500 today!! Need scope advice?

I shot my 500 today and what a cannon!!! I shot open sites at 50 yds with corbon 400gr ammo. I only shot 2 rounds to see how the recoil was and it has a hefty kick. I need a scope and base for my handi 500 and need help in what to buy. I would like to get a fixed 4 or 6 power scope or just a 2x7 to 3x9 should work. I don't have alot to spend and would like to keep it around $150.00. The ammo is expensive so I only shot 2 rounds  today and about 15 rounds through my 20gauge. My shoulder is sore :wink:  I plan on buying reloading stuff next payday but the handi worked great today! Trigger is smooth, ejected easy, It's a really awsome round.. :eek:

I am VERY jellous!!! Glad you liked it!!

Reloading will keep the barrel warm. :)  and more cash in the pockets!!
 
 I sould receive my 500 in about a week...... :(

I have a Mueller 2x7 Illumi Dot on my 45-70, seems to be holding up well.check opticzone.......

I put a 1.5 to 4.5 on my 500S&W. Get the most eye relief  as you can because the scope will come back to get you. Deal with th lower power scopes.

I did not see your request for scope suggestions....sorry.
 I love the LEUPOLDS.
 I have a VXII Matte 2X7X33 with a german #3 waiting for my 500.

I would recomend any lower power fixed or varible in the Leupold line. The 1X4 shotgun, with a heavy duplex would be mighty nice.
