Glass bed MKII?
« on: October 20, 2005, 07:42:45 PM »
I couldn't stand the skeleton, black, ugly stock that came on the SS .270 I bought used.
I have had a blank turned and semi-inletted for this action.
Have any of you glass bedded one of these?
I sure could use some help with what needs to be bedded and what can be left alone and the order of which goes first.
Many thanks, Gentlemen.

What do you plan on doing with the original stock?  I actually prefer them.  reakin

I've bedded several dozen MK-II actions. It's not that different from any others exept for the recoil lug. Shoot me an e-mail, and I'll send you my phone number if you'd like. I'm a hunt, and peck typer. I can tell you in 15 minutes over the phone what it'd take me an hour to type.
