Finaly!!!!
« on: October 17, 2005, 12:29:55 PM »
Well, it has been a loooong time coming, but its finaly happened.  I had been looking into the notion of replacing my BSA Catseye 1.5-4.5x scope on my Encore with a more appropriate scope for the caliber (the .30-06,) months and months and months ago. After some great suggestions from the folks here and a C&R License (thus getting me a SUBSTANTIAL discount from Midway USA) I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 2-7x on its way to me (thank you very much to Graybeard who initially suggested this scope.)  It will sit in Burris Signature Zee rings.  I may not get it all tweaked out for this deer season, but you can bet she will be taking down game next year (and it will be my choice firearm for whenever I get picked for the moose lottery here in NH.)
I will post some pics when the glass gets on the rifle
Anyways, thanks again to those who helped me those many months ago.

New Hampshire,

You will likely love that scope. I have one and I do. My nephew has one on his Omega and used it to kill a nice whitetail. He also used it in the rain in the Adirondacks and he said the Rainguard worked as advertised. Good, clear scope.
