A buddy of mine liked my Encore 209x50 so much he went and bought one too. He said when he was sighting his in the primers were winding up behind the extractor. I told him to go get the EZ TIP extractor and install it. He got it and I installed it for him. when I tried to slide the new extractor into it's slot it was very tight. I had to really press hard to seat it.
Mine seems to move in and out freely. I popped several primers through it and it seems to be ejecting just fine. Is there a chance it was some poor machining from the factory or has mine got to much play in it?? Mine ejects the primers fine too!!!

I just remove the extractors from my Encore ML barrels. The primers are easy to pick out and it makes cleaning faster.

When I was using 209 primes in my Encore, I just removed the extractor. I never needed it. Now that I have the 25 ACP breech plug, again no extractor. Save yourself some money and not buy the ez-tip extractor.

Definatley recommend the 25 acp breech plug!!
