Hammer Extension
« on: October 11, 2005, 05:51:33 PM »
I want to switch the hammer extension on my handi, but can't figure out how to loosen it to take if off so I can switch it to the other side.  It seems like it should just screw off, but I can't see what I am supposed to loosen on it to remove.  If someone would just give me a quick explanation on how to do this I would really appreciate it.  Thanks.

Take a look in the FAQ sticky, towards the bottom of the thread.

There is a set screw inside the extension.  It takes a small allen wrench.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Thanks guys.  When I looked at the hammer extension last time I must not have been able to see the allen screw inside.  Thanks again.
