I bought a .45x20 G2 Barrel. Put it on, shot it, works great. Didn't even have to adjust the sites for zero at 50 yards. Nice two inch group with iron sights. Good enough for deer hunting this year. Now the problem. I'm PCS'ing to Germany and my wife packed up the box that had the manual in it. Just how in the heck to I get the primer extractor out so I can pull the breech plug??? Haven't done this before... obviously huh? Need instructions!!!!

Call TC and they can send you another manual. I got mine for my Contender 4 days after i called. . .

On standard contender barrels there are two roll pins. One for the locking lugs and one for the case extractor. It may be easier on your barrel since it is made to come apart. I don't have one, so don't know for sure. I would look for a roll pin holding it in. You could call TC at 603-332-2333.

if it's like the Encore, instead of a roll pin, it's a small slotted screw!!

It was the small screw on the right side of the lugs... nice to be able to clean it right. Now I need to order a supply of those screws... as little as they are it's a 100% guarantee that I will lose it.
