Replacement Stock for T/C Hawkin

I need to replace a stock on a T/C Hawkin. I suppose that T/C offers replacement stocks. However, can anyone offer additonal sources for stocks? Looking for something a little fancier.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you 'need' to replace it?
FYI, if something has gone wrong with it like a crack or something, TC will replace it completely under their life time warranty, no charge.

I don't know of anybody else who makes a complete drop-in replacement stock for the TC Hawken...a couple places make replacement stocks but they're not finished...you have to do the final fit & trimming, stock finishing, etc, yourself.

Just an FYI:  If you purchase a TC Kit, the stock is not covered by the warranty.  Price of a Drop in Stock from TC will take your breath away.  Do a search for muzzleloading gun parts or you can try
www.longrifles-pr.com/.  They have a stock but it will take some work to on your part.  Track of the Wolf or Tiger Hunt at www.gunstockwood.com also has a 95% finished stock.

    Try E-Bay,  I see stocks and parts for all kinds of T/C Rifles.  I have had good luck there, infact thats where I bought that tang sight I wrote about in response to your post.   .........Jim

Pecatonica River makes some nice stockes.  Not drop in, but with a little fitting and finishing they can be very lovely:

TC Custom Shop offers them in high grade walnut. Really nice.
