nikon laser range finders
« on: October 20, 2005, 04:33:06 AM »
Hi all, I purchased a nikon 600 range finder from natchez shooters supply a few months ago. It works great, but the darn thing eats batteries. Every time I've installed a new battery it works great all that day, but the next time I go to use it (3 days to a week later)the battery is dead. It is a lithium ion battery, slightly larger than surefire batteries, and at $8 a pop it is frustrating. Does everyone else remove their battery every time they are done, or does mine have something stuck on that shouldn't be? The internal crosshairs appear when the button is depressed, and go away a short time later, and all functions seem to work, but it doesn't work at all in a few days with dead batteries. Anyone else have experience with these? Thanks for your help. -Muttly
