Benjamin 392 reman
« on: October 22, 2005, 02:15:19 AM »
I recently purchased a 392 remanufactured rifle from argon Express, had heard that they were junk. I am impressed with mine. It appears new except it appears that the stock has been repaired at the juncture of pump handle and main stock. If thats what was done, they did a super job. The sights were useless to my eyes, so I ordered a Williams peep from Brownells and that fixed that for me. The trigger is managable, but not great. Accuracy seems to be about what I would expect, although I have not got really serious about shooting a group on paper. Was walking around a field after the opening of dove season and picking up 12 gauge shells to use for targets. At a stepped off 50' I could hit them most of the time. Anyone had any experience with these remans? Mine seems fine. Bought this one for $75 + shipping.
