I have the M2 in 16 1/4" bbl. Shoots about  1" at 100. Shots touching at 50. But not quite as accurate as my 17HMR. But a lot of fun. Little difference in drop tween 50 and 100 yards.

I've got a pair of 10" T/C custom shop barrels in .17HM2 and .17HMR that I am very pleased with.  Both are wonderfully accurate (minute of squirrel head anyway).   Very fond of this neat little round.

I have one in the standard 14" factory offering.  It shoots real well but I cannot brag about small groups because I shoot mine with open sights.  I can hit a 1 1/2" spinner 4 out of 5 times at 50 yards, not bad for me and open sights

I like it because you can shoot it at my spinners and it does not tear them up like the HMR I used to have did.  I have left it open sighted because I have a 22 Mag with a scope, plus this is a gun that I like to practice my open sighted shooting ability with since it is accurate (so you know a miss is the bonehead pulling the trigger).
