Once I drove off and left my very good sunglasses laying next to the set.  When I returned I mistook a nice Tom for a coon.

Was walking down the middle of a creek checking mink sets I made up under the bank.  On my return trip back upstream I saw a stainless S&W 22 revolver laying on the gravel under about a foot of running water.  It was the one from my jacket pocket that fell out earlier when I bent over poking around under the bank.

You have no idea how relieved I was to see it and I didn't even have to go through all the worry because I didn't know it was missing.

My wife, but she found her way home.

If a tree falls in the woods and my wife is not there to hear it...is it still my fault?

Generally I realize I have left somthing and go back and get it. Once I left my little shovel (I call it a Ho Ho as it looks kinda like a Yo Ho but I made it myself on Cristmas Day) at a cat set. A darwinian coyote climbed through a juniper tree to get at the set. After he got caught he chewed everything up including the handle of my shovel. That is about as interesting as I have.

I have forgoten many differant tools and lure bottles but what stands out the most is a 2 year old .I set him on my otter sled on top of some beaver and took off twords the truck.About 1/4 mile away from sets I turned around and realized he wasn't there! Being in fear of my wife killing me I had to go back and colect him!
