Thought someone might be interested in these.  Scroll down the page for the H&R stocks. They also have heat shieds with Ghost ring sights for shotgun barrels.

Hey there everyone...

This is my Ar Handy...Looks good and is nice to carry....But to tell you all the real truth, I cant stand to shoot it, and infact the stock is sitting is a bag ready to be sold...

There are 2 issuse that I have with it....

First, no matter where yo place the stock at, there is a twist in it every time you shoot it...twist or more like a side by side movment...It very hard to get good cheak placement...

Second, the stock can not hold up to high recoil...the steal button on the lever will rip the plastic holes holding the stock in place under HI recoil rounds...says my .450 Mongo...Trust me, I got a big surprise when the stock collapsed on my and the scope hit my forehead...the pictured .223 was fine though..

and #3 the stock is just too light and make the gun front heavy...

Just 2 cents worth
Keep them in the 10 Ring my Butt, Keep them on the 10

We're doing just ducky.308,thanks.  Hope you can say the same. Between working and keeping an eye on the two forums I'm moderating I haven't had much time to post over here.  Sides that I have not had a chance to do much shooting lately.  I do need to get a little practice in and check my sights on the .280 before regular firearm deer season opens.

Couldn't get much better here. We're truly Blessed. I retired in March of this year, which is good. Wife is doing really well, she has a title now, Pres. I am very proud of and for her. Daughter is doing great, home schooling now thru Christian Liberty Academy. I'm out of a range, not good, hopefully get into a private one in February. Haven't got to work with my 280 at all. Got a scope on it and bore sighted is as far as I've got.

I saw that you are moderating a couple of forums, I need to check you out. Take care and hold things down in NC. Later, Lamar...

.308; Congratulations to you on your retirement and to your better half on her promotion.  My daughter, Angelika ('Angel'), is enjoying first grade.  She is in the AIG program in reading. She is one bright kid and just loves to read.  We have to go to the public library every two weeks to get a new sack full of books for her to read.  The NRA has resources that could help you find a new range.
