Remounted Morter Started a Howitzer
« on: October 21, 2005, 05:57:48 AM »
I remounted my Morter, have to touch-up the bolts with black paint today,

I started a 1/4 scale howitzer yesterday, heres a pic of my boring setup for half inch after starting it with a small bit in the tailstock. Then switching the setup for a longer bit.

and another one of it after being polished with 320, and waiting for the next step, Switching it end for end to finish the front of it.

9inches long. 1.59 in the stepped section.
1.6 to 1.75 taper on the barrel.
1/2 inch bore 7.5 deep. no stepdown.
sorry for the lack of terminoligy.

comments, welcome.
