Would one of you please check and see if it is legal to use a forward grip bolt pistol, (ie. Masters style) in Unlimited Any Sight or half size class? Thanks. Russ

Russ,

What do you mean by "forward grip?" Anything that's legal in Unlimited is legal in UHS.

Russ,

Yes it is legal. Be careful if your shooting from the prone position that your not grounding the gun.

Two grip pistols are illegal under BATF laws. and thereby illegal for use in IHMSA.

This is not 2 grips, just one forward grip instead of in the rear. Thanks for the reply anyway. I have found that it is indeed legal for IHMSA.  Russ

Russ could you email me a picture of the gun. I am curious I have never seen a gun built like this. I missunderstood that it was only one grip.   Bill Robinson    hornetx40@comcast.net

Bill,

The one I saw had the grip mounted at the forward end of the stock, about 6 inches back of the muzzle. It was shot prone with the stock back of the grip layed along the top of the forarm. Because of the long distance from the trigger to the grip this one used a Green eletronic trigger.
