I am thinking about buying one of these. Does anyone have experiance with them? Good, bad, ugly? I have heard the triggers are jerky and pull like a railroad switch, but that is all. Any other comments?

The 96 series seem to be one Ruger that many people don't care for----never owned or even messed with one--so can't comment.
Bottom line---if the price is right and you like it---get what you want.
