Hi All,
Can I ask a question please:
How important to you is footwear for off hand shooting?
What's legal, what's comfortable, and what works for you?
Regards, Max,

Max, I don't know of any rules reguarding footwear. I have seen shooters wearing everything from flip-flop's to knee high lace up boots. I prefer an ankle high boot with a wide heel. That is what gives me the most support and stability. Al

from something that I heard on footwear it may not be wrote down anywhere official but here is my TCW
the boots that the shooters use in target rifle 3P shooting are not allowed in sil shooting you may know the kind the boots sole has a small rim about 5 mil all the way round so it gives the shooter more stability as it covers more ground when standing...and it has flat soles no raised heel.
i think if there is no rule on footwear then we should all wear snowshoes ie (those tennis rackets) to our next NRA match to see what it said...hey dont knock snow shoes ....
